Moroccanoil

I should have posted this blog earlier this year, but it was not until a colleague of mine at work mentioned she was having trouble controlling her curly hair that I remember I had written this post  but had not posted it.

I mentioned I used and swore by Moroccanoil products and convinced her to try it, I event went as far to say if Moroccanoil didn’t work for her I would buy it from her.

My Moroccanoil journey

Moroccanoil has been around for a while. I stumbled across it years ago whilst browsing through YouTube. The only thing was the product was not available in the UK at the time. Thank god for eBay!

I purchased my first Moroccanoil styling lotion and the first thing you noticed was the divine fragrance, I was instantly drawn to the scent now known to me as the Moroccanoil signature fragrance just one sniff and you are literally hooked lol.

So became my hunt for additional styling products again, not sold in the UK or could not be shipped to the UK without high customs charges. The hunt was on. As time went on Moroccanoil was obtainable in the UK but only through hair salons, but not all hair salons are authorised sellers or online vendors. Now different salons cater to different hair types and the ranges sold differ, so again you have to search for just. The. Right. One. (disappointing!)

Roll on a few years later

I have been using the Moroccanoil hair styling range for years now, especially the Treatment Oil.  Then in 2014 the Hair Smoothing Shampoo, Conditioner and Smoothing mask range was launched perfect for curly, dry course and frizzy hair I just had to try it. I have not looked back the product is amazing again it has the signature scent and smooths my natural hair, extension and even wigs. My hair feels rejuvenated after washing rather than that dry brittle damaged feel I use to get when using other shampoos oh and did I mention tangle free.

I regularly use the Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner, Smoothing Mask, Treatment oil, Dry shampoo Styling Lotion they have been added to my cannot survive without list.

When I am having a serious pamper session at home, you know that spa treatment, I pull out the scented candles yes that’s right Moroccanoil have their signature scented candles too, they are intoxicating and lightly fragranced; together with the Cleansing Bar, Moroccanoil Body Buff, Body Scuffle.

Last but not least is the Moroccanoil Hand Cream  which never leaves my handbag.

I have yet to try the shower milk and shower gel which are still not available in the UK, but mark my words I will get my hand on them!

Note: there is a wide range of Moroccanoil body products too, which include the Fleur De Rose, Fleur D’Oranger range but I am partial to the original!

Have you tried Moroccanoil? Would love to hear your thoughts

Until next time….Happy shopping!
