NARS Mini Makeup Haul

NARS has been around for years and to tell you the truth I honestly don’t know why I have never invested in the brand…On a recent shopping trip to Westfield I popped into Space NK to check out the various shades in the NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation range, I picked up a sample or two to try at home. I have since gone on to purchase the a few more I would like to share with you

NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation

NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation has amazing coverage two pumps is all I need, the shade I chose matched my complexion brilliantly, my face looks radiant but as the winter months approach I will need to invest in a lighter shade. I love this foundation. It has fast become my go to foundation.

 NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer

I also purchased the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer (Mini’s) in three shades to try; I wasn’t sure which shade would work best and because of the lock-down I was unable to try in store. You see for me I want my concealer to even out, conceal, is crease free and most importantly highlight key areas like my under eye, bridge of my nose, forehead and chin. I found the consistency was thick, buildable (a little really did go a long way) and didn’t feel heavy on my skin.  This concealer had a lovely matt finish.  My verdict for me this concealer was a fail, my fine lines were clearly visible.

NARS Orgasm Blush

The NARS Orgasm Blush was a must try too, it is a shimmer peachy pink blush with golden shimmer a flattering shade for all skin tones. I don’t have shimmer blushes in my collection but when I swatched the Orgasm blush there was no turning back. I absolutely love it

NARS Albatross Highlighter/Blush

I asked myself if I really needed another highlighter… I told myself ohhhh yes. Lol!I wasn’t sure if this highlighter was going to work for me because it was white!

However, when I applied it to my skin it was more of the champagne colour with shimmering gold glitter that would suit most women of colour skin tones beautifully.

I applied the highlighter with a fan brush, (very lightly) and noticed how it instantly brightened my makeup!

NARS Albatross has been marketed as a highlighter/ blusher powder but I will just use it as a highlighter, as all highlighting powders. The NARS Albatross highlighter can be used on the cheek bones, brow bone, centre of my nose and on my cupid’s bow which helps to add life and radiance to my skin. It can basically be used to highlight anything you wish!

Since my purchases late summer NARS has launched a Matt foundation I am sooooo going to try, look out for my review.

Do you use NARS products? What are you must haves in the NARS range? Would love to hear from you.

Until next time….Happy Shopping!!
